“La Loba“, 2007
In this piece I was exploring space and how I connected to it, my aim was to find the one place in the room in which I felt the most relaxed, safe and powerful. This exploration is heard in the soundtrack, which is a ghost performance and offers the viewer a history to where the live performance takes place. ‘La Loba’ explores the idea of the wild woman and primal consciousness in a society that shies away from anything it classes as primitive.
