The Four Stages of Doubt

2010

The Four Stages of Doubt, is a sculptural instalation that expands of over two floors. For this work I have used forms of meditation to establish myself in the roles of intermediary, priestess or of shaman in order to actively seek out the story of the space. I have done this by interpreting what I deem to be the resonance, echoes and waves that hold the story. Through this process I have begun creating a work that has progressed to form a large scale installation. By mixing ancient ritual with modern versions the primary story that has unfolded is one of forging change and that of redemption, which is at odds with the natural order of things and technology.
